dénicheuse.com, launched on 27 January 2011 by Petites Choses S.à.r.l., is an online shop offering little things that are out of the ordinary, beautiful and offbeat, designed to make life a little more colourful, more amusing, more interesting and have a little more sparkle: things that will make you smile. Exceptional little things sourced especially for you from all over the world.

The treasures on our site are objects to give you pleasure, or small gifts that give pleasure to someone else.

Finding objects on the site is easy

- search by designer or brand

- or browse our thematic selections.

In the online shop, you can select the product(s) that you want to buy by adding them to your shopping cart. You can track your purchases or consult a summary of the products you have selected at any time, by clicking the link “My cart”. Finish your purchases by clicking “Checkout”. Throughout the ordering process, the steps are clearly indicated. If you have any questions or uncertainties, you may contact us.

When placing your order, you must acknowledge that you have read and accepted without reserve our General terms and conditions of sale. After your order has been placed and your payment validated, we will send a confirmation by email.

Prices given on dénicheuse.com

All prices are given in euros, inclusive of tax but exclusive of postage & packing. Any changes in the rate of VAT will be reflected automatically in the sale prices. The prices given take into account the VAT applicable on the day of ordering.

We reserve the right to modify our prices at any time. Products will be invoiced on the basis of prices that apply at the moment the order is made.

Online sale in the countries of the European Union exclusively

At present, we offer our products for sale online only within the European Union: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.

Ordering by fax or email for all countries outside the European Union

Unfortunately, ordering online automatically for sales outside the European Union is not yet possible. We hope to put online international sales in place as soon as possible.

But if you would like to place an order, do not hesitate to contact us by email (boutique@denicheuse.com) or fax, specifying precisely which article(s) you would like to purchase. We will get back to you quickly. The price you will be charged will then be net of VAT.

Other taxes and customs duties may possibly be imposed when your package reaches its destination. These customs duties and possible taxes are your responsibility. We are not obliged to verify or inform you of the customs duties or taxes applicable.

To find out, we advise you to get information from the relevant authorities in your country.

Payment is accepted solely by bank transfer and packages will be despatched once the transfer has been received.

CLIENT OR GUEST ACCOUNT

Client account

To make an order on www.denicheuse.com, you can create a client account (your address details will be registered and you will be able to access them at any time with your password). If you lose your password, we will send you a new one, which you can easily change.

If you set up an account with our shop, you will be able to make your orders more rapidly, record more delivery addresses, check and track the progress of your orders, and many other things. At any time you can edit the information in your account by clicking “My account”. After identification, you just need to click “Change information in my account”.

Guest

You can also submit orders as a Guest (at your subsequent visit, you will need to enter your address details again).

Personal information, such as your name and invoice and delivery addresses, telephone number or email, are necessary for us to process and send your order.

MODES OF PAYMENT (for delivery to an EU country)

The total sum due (product price inclusive of VAT, postage & packing) will be shown when your order is confirmed.

You can choose one of two modes of payment:

Payment by MasterCard or Visa with EVO Payments 

Payment can be made online using Visa or MasterCard, via EVO Payments, an ingenious and professional solution for electronic payment designed to process credit card payments on the Internet securely.

In EVO Payments, we have found a trusted partner, and we guarantee that your payment will be made in total security.

Your bank details will be completely encrypted and protected by the Evos's secure system, which includes Merchant Plug-In (3D-Secure) for reinforced security of payments.

Your bank details will be encrypted and will not travel unencrypted on the Internet. This is why for each new order we ask for the number of your credit card.

When making a payment with EVO Paymentsl you will temporarily leave the denicheuse.com site to access the secure payment platform: secure processing of online payments by credit card, including setting up Merchant Plug-In (3DSecure) with reinforced security of payments, is guaranteed by EVO Payments.

Payment by Paypal

We alos offer the option of payment by Paypal, another online payment solution that is both reliable and secure.

 

Payment by bank transfer (compulsory for deliveries to countries outside the EU)

If you wish, you can also pay by bank transfer.

When ordering, you indicate that payment is by bank transfer.

If you select this option, we will contact you by email as soon as we receive your order, to give you our bank details. Your order will be despatched once the transfer has been received. We will ask you to give the order reference number when you make the bank transfer.

Discount Code

If you have a discount code, you can enter it in the appropriate field in your shopping cart. The discount will be automatically deducted from the price of your order.

PROCESSING YOUR ORDER, DESPATCH AND DELIVERY

Confirmation of order

After your order has been sent and your payment validated, we will send you confirmation of your order by email. All orders, as well as their despatch, will be confirmed by email; or by fax if the order has been made in this way.

Preparing the package

Each package is meticulously prepared and packed with tender loving care. For us, ensuring that you receive a beautiful package of your acquisitions is all part of our lovely adventure.

Each object is packed to give it as much protection as possible (cushioning material, packaging, rigid carton), so as to limit any deterioration during transport.

Shipping the package

All efforts will be made to process your order and despatch as soon as possible. In general, if the products are available, confirmed orders will be shipped within 1 to 3 days of receipt of your payment, except weekends or public holidays. Note that these deadlines are for information purposes only, and may vary according to the product ordered, its destination, or other factors. Overrunning this period does not mean your order has been cancelled, and does not entail any reduction in price, damages or interest, provided the delivery is made within 30 (thirty) days following validation of the payment.

If you order a product that is out of stock, we will inform you when the product is likely to become available again within 3 days of receipt of your order.

The products are despatched, with an invoice voucher, to the delivery address you give when making your order.

Once your order has been despatched, we will send you an email to inform you of this and give you all the details concerning the delivery. We will inform you that your package has been shipped, but its delivery will then depend on the postal services.

Delivery of the package

So that your package arrives as quickly as possible, in total security, we will try to find the most reliable and cheapest solutions for sending your order according to its weight, value and destination.

Delivery time

Once your order has been despatched, we will send you an email to inform and giving you details concerning the mode of delivery. We will inform you that your package has been shipped, but its delivery will then depend on the postal services.

Within Luxembourg, once the package has been posted you should receive your order within 1 to 2 working days of our notification of despatch!

For European Union countries in the list below, the delivery time will normally be 1 to 5 working days (after our notification of despatch): Luxembourg, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.

For the remaining EU countries, the delivery time is longer and varies from one country to another, but may be between 5 and 10 working days.

Delivery times are for information purposes only. It is however conceivable that, due to problems with the postal services, that delivery will take longer. We take no responsibility for delays in delivery.

Insurance included

The postage & packaging costs include insurance against loss, theft or damage of your package. For all high-value orders, we will endeavour to take out supplementary insurance, so that the value of your order is covered.

Recorded delivery

A signature is always required when the package is delivered to the delivery address. If you are away, a notice of attempted delivery will be left in your letterbox, telling you the procedures to follow.

SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE EU

Possible taxes

It is not yet possible for articles shipped outside the European Union to be ordered online. We will be putting online international shipping in place as soon as possible.

If you would like to make an order, you will need to contact us by email or fax (download order form), specifying precisely which article(s) you would like to purchase.

We will inform you rapidly of postage & packaging costs.

The sale price for orders from outside the EU will be net of VAT. But it is possible that other taxes and customs duties may be imposed when your package reaches its destination. These may vary from one country to another, and are your responsibility. We are not obliged to verify or inform you of the customs duties or taxes applicable.

To find out, we advise you to get information from the relevant authorities in your country.

SHIPPING CHARGES

We reinvoice our clients for only part of the shipping and logistics charges.

In addition, we offer postage & packaging free of charge to Luxembourg for all orders worth €99 or more, tax inclusive!

Shipping charges depend on the weight of your order as well as its destination.

To find out the cost of postage & packaging, add the products you wish to buy to your shopping cart and enter the country of destination, and shipping charges will be calculated.

Shipping charges are given on the site and the cost for a definite order is added when the order is recorded. They include the costs of packaging, handling and postage.

RIGHT OF RETURN

The product you ordered isn’t what you were expecting?

You have a period of 14 working days from when you received your goods in which to inform us and return the product(s) ordered on denicheuse.com. Returned products must be sent in their original state and packaging, accompanied by the invoice.

The products must be returned correctly protected in their packaging and in their original state, accompanied by all accessories, operating instructions and documentation. The products must not have been used or damaged, however minimally, and must be perfectly clean.

Return is made under your responsibility and all risks associated with the return of the merchandise will be at your own cost (damage, breakage, theft, loss). You must bear the return postal costs. Before sending back a pack, you have to inform us that the pack is send back, by email at boutique@denicheuse.com, by fax, or by letter.

We will refund the amount invoiced, to the bank account given in your mail, by 30 days at the latest after receiving the returned product.

RETURN of merchandise – complaint

Despite all the care that denicheuse.com takes in preparing the package, it could be that a product is flawed. It may also happen that a product is damaged during shipping.

You will be invited to verify the good state of the merchandise after you have received it. If a package is damaged or opened during transport, you must notify us within 48 hours of the delivery.

Any complaints concerning the invoicing or delivery of a product (for defects, lack of conformity, error, or missing article) must be notified to us within 10 days of receiving the product. After this deadline, we are no longer obliged to accept any complaints concerning the product ordered or the invoice.

As long as the products are available, we will endeavour to replace, at our own cost and as quickly as possible, articles that do not conform to their description on the site http://www.denicheuse.com or to the object indicated in your order, on condition that it has been returned by the deadline given above, in its original packaging, and that it has not been used. This also applies to products that are defective or do not correspond to our description, unless you have opted for a refund or credit voucher.

SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY

Transmissions of personal information on the site dénicheuse.com are carried out in a secure context, using Internet protocols.

Your credit card details will not be stored by the site dénicheuse.com.

When making a payment, you will temporarily leave the denicheuse.com site to access the secure payment platform (Saferpay@Cetrel or Paypal, according to the choice you have made).

CONFIDENTIALITY OF DATA

You can use the site without leaving any personal information.

But once you make an order, you will need to open an account. We collect the details necessary to process your order (invoice and shipping): name, address, delivery address, email, telephone number etc.

We undertake not to divulge your address details to third parties except those involved directly in the order process: bank, delivery service etc.

In addition, your personal details may also, in exceptional cases, be released if denicheuse.com should be legally required to do so, for example if a legal complaint is made.
